KURESA VIJAYAM

Radhe Krishna 27-03-2020

KURESA VIJAYAM 5 - “THRIPURA SAMHARA”   THIRIPURA SAMHARA. SAIVAS ARGUEMENT:--- ONCE THERE LIVED THREE DEMONS NAMED KAMALAKSHA, DHARUKAAKSHA AND VIDYUNMALI. THEY PERFORMED SEVERE PENANCE TOWARDS BRAHMA  AND GOT EXTRAORDINARY POWERS DUE TO:   1. BRAHMA’S BOON 2. IMMENSE FAITH IN VEDAS  3. THIER WIFES’ CHASTITY AND PURITY AND 4. THE HELP OF SANJEEVI SIDDARASA KOOPA (A WELL WITH NECTOR GIVING IMMORTALITY) CREATED BY DEMON’S VISVAKARMA MAYAN    USING THESE STRONG POWERS, THEY CREATED THREE WORLDS[LOGAS] EACH CONSISTING OF GOLD, SILVER AND IRON RESPECTIVELY. THE SPECIALITY OF THESE WORLDS ARE THAT, THEY CAN FLY FROM ONE PLACE TO OTHER.    THE THREE DEMONS SAT ON THESE WORLDS AND FLEW FROM BHOO LOKA TO DEVA LOKA, HARASSING THE DEMIGODS (DEVAS) IN DEVA LOKA AND HUMANS IN THIS WORLD.THEY CONQUERED ALL THE WORLDS.  INDIRA AND OTHER DEVAS WER PANIVED BY THIS ACT AND SOUGHT THE HELP OF SIVA.SIVA BURNT ALL THE THREE WORLDS AND KILLED THE THREE DEMONS. HENCE SIVA IS THE SUPREME LORD CLAIMED THE SAIVAS.  SWAMI KOORATHZHWAN’S REPLY:    RESPONDING TO THE PRAYERS OF INDIRA AND OTHER DEVAS,  SIVA DEMANDED THAT IF HE IS PRAISED WITH THE NAME “PASUPATHI”, HE WILL HELP THE DEVAS. THE DEVAS PRAISED SIVA AS REQUESTED. THEN SIVA, ALONG WITH DEVAS FOUGHT WITH THE DEMONS AND KILLED MILLIONS OF DEMONS AND THREW THEM IN SIDDARASA KOOPA (IMMORTAL WELL).     AS THE WELL HAS THE NECTOR WHICH GIVES IMMORTALITY, THE DEMONS DID NOT DIE AND EMERGED WITH GREAT POWERS AGAIN LIKE THE PLANTS COMING OUT FROM EARTH. SIVA GOT EXHAUSTED AND PRAYED TO LORD MAHAVISHNU FOR HELP.

THE ALMIGHTY AND MOST COMPASSIONATE LORD SRIMAN NARAYANA WHO IS ALWAYS AT THE DOOR STEPS OF HIS DEVOTEE, IMMEDIATELY APPEARED BEFORE SIVA AND ENQUIRED ABOUT SIVA’S DISTRESS. SIVA EXPLAINED THE INCIDENT AND PRAYED HIM THE WAYS AND MEANS TO WIN THE DEMONS AND DESTROY THRIPURA.   LORD VISHNU SHOWERED HIS BLESSINGS ON SIVA. HE MADE THE HUGE MOUNTAIN “MERU” AS A BOW,  EARTH AS THE CHARIOT, SUN AND MOON AS THE WHEELS FOR THE CHARIOT, BRAHMA AS CHARIOT RIDER, FIXED THE SPEED OF GARUDA AT ARROW AND  POSITIONED HIMSELF AT THE TIP OF THE ARROW.   HE THEN TRANSFORMED THE UNIQUE POWERS OF DEVAS ON SIVA. HE ALSO BLESSED SIVA WITH KAVASA MANTHRA. HE THEN SWALLOWED ALL THE AMRUTHA (NECTOR) IN THE SIDDHARASA KOOPA (IMMORTAL WELL) AND MADE IT EMPTY.   LORD VISHNU THEN TOOK THE FORM OF BUDDHA AND STARTED PREACHING THE DEMONS AGAINST THE VEDAS. BY DOING SO HE GRASPED ALL THE VIRTUE (PUNYA) OF THE DEMONS.   IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE CHASTITY OF THE DEMON’S WIFE, THE LORD TRANSFORMED HIMSELF TO A ARASA TREE (BODHI TREE).HE ASKED THE DEMON’S WIFE TO EMBRACE THE TREE TO GET FURTHER GOOD BENIFITS. THE WIFE OF DEMONS BELIEVED SO AND EBRACED THE TREE. HENCE THEY LOST ALL THEIR PURITIES, CHATITY AND GOOD QUALITIES.   THIS, BEING THE RIGHT TIME, LORD SRIMAN NARAYANA URGED SANKARA TO MAKE A FIERCE FIGHT WITH THE DEMONS. WHEN SIVA WAS FIGHTING WITH THE DEMONS, THE ENTIRE WEIGHT RESTED ON ONE SIDE OF THE CHARIOT [EARTH] WHICH FELL DOWN IN TO THE ATHALA LOKA. LORD VISHNU TOOK THE SHAPE OF OX [RISHAPA] AND LIFTED THE EARTH TO ITS POSITION.   DURING THIS FIERCE WAR BETWEEN SIVA AND THE THREE DEMONS DHARUKAAKSHA, KAMALAAKSHA AND VIDYUN MALI, LORD VISHNU WHO HAS POSITIONED HIMSELF IN THE TIP OF THE ARROW OF SIVA’S BOW,  BURNT THE CRUEL DEMONS AND THE TRIPURA (THREE WORLDS). SIVA CLAIMED THIS AS HIS DEED.

WHEN LORD VISHNU, WITH ALL HIS VARIOUS MAYAS MADE SIVA TO FIGHT AND MADE THIS BATTLE A GRAND SUCCESS, HOW COULD ONE CLAIM SIVA AS SUPREME, EXCLAIMED KOORESA.             FURTHER SWAMI EXPLAINED THAT THE ABOVE MENTIONED PRAMANA ARE STATED IN SEVENTH SCANTO OF SRI BAGHAVATHA PURANA, IN SKANTHA PURANA - SAPTHA SKANTHA (SEVENTH CANTO) IN HARI VAMSA, NAARATHEEYA  AND UTHTHARA KOORMA.   MOREOVER IN MAHABHARATA-KARNA PARVA, IT IS STATED  “VISHNUR AATMA BHAGAVATHA: BHAVASYA AMITHATHEJASAA”    AS LORD VISHNU WAS THE ANTARYAMI TO THE BRIGHT LOOKED SIVA, HE WAS ABLE TO FIGHT WITH HIS BOW AND ARROW AND DID THE TRIPURA SAMHARA. HE STATED ALL THESE PRAMANAS AND REFUTED THE SAIVAS.   KURESA VIJAYAM 22 - “Vishnu searching for Shiva’s Foot & Headâ€   Saivaites claimed that “Your Supreme lord Mahavishnu and Creator Brahma endeavoured to touch the Foot and Head of Lord Shiva respectively but could not succeed in doing so. Hence Shiva is in supremacy.   Kuresa quoted the verse from Vedas in sequence and refuted their proclamation:   Ã˜        The serpent bed of Sriman Narayana, “The Adhiseshaâ€ acts as the pedestal and supports all the 14 lokas with his head. Lord Vishnu upholds that Adhisesha too along with the 14 Lokas, taking the form of Adhi Koorma.

If at all, the Saivas try to show pramana for their stand, it is stated only in thamasa purana written by Veda Vyasa to popularise the Mohana sastra created by Shiva as per Thirumal’s instruction. These tamasa pramana includes Skanda purana and Rudra geeta.   All the factual statements are clearly mentioned in Sri Bagavatha Purana and Vishnu Purana.   So my dear poets and aristocrats!! “Please examine with a clear mind and come to the right conclusionâ€ concluded Kuresa.   KURESA VIJAYAM 5 - “YAMA SAMHARA” Koorathaazwan, (who is deeply devoted to Sri Ramanuja, who always prostrate to Swami Nammazwar who is considered as the Paduka of Sriman Narayan) is debating with the Saiva Pandits in Chola King’s Court. On this series of debate, next we shall discuss about yet another proclamation by Saiva on the Topic “Yama Samhara”. Saiva’s Statement: Mrikandu Munivar worshipped Shiva and sought from him the boon of begetting a son. He was given the choice between a gifted son with a short lived tenure on earth or a dunce with a long life. Mrikandu Munivar chose the former, and was blessed with Markandeya, an exemplary son, destined to die at the age of 16. Markandeya grew up to be a great devotee of Shiva. On the day of his destined death Markandeya continued to worship a Shivalingam. The messengers of Yama, the God of death were unable to take away the lad's life, given his devotion to Shiva and his being engaged in the act of worship then. Yama himself came in person to take his life away and sprung his noose around the young sage's neck. The noose landed around the Shivalingam, and out of it, Shiva emerged in all his fury, and

kicked Yama and killed Death itself. He then revived him, under the condition that the devout youth would live for ever. Saiva’s Claimed that as Shiva killed the death King Yama, he is the Supreme Lord.       Swami Koorathaazwan discarded: The Katha Upanishad (1.2.25) says:  yasya brahma ca kshatram ca ubhe bhavatah odanah mrityur yasyopasecanam ka ittha veda yatra sah    Lord Sriman Narayana for whom the entire universe consisting of all forms of Movable (Brahma) and immovable (Kshatra) are food (odanam) and (God of) Death is pickle (upasechanam) to enjoy dinner… says Kathopanishad. We use pickle as the side dish and finish our main course and then eat the pickle to finish the dinner. The same way, Lord Sriman Narayana uses the Samhara Devatha Shiva to destroy the whole world during Pralaya and finally swallow him too. Mahopanishad proclaims : Ekohaavai Narayana Aaseeth.  Na Brahmaneshano..... Na nakshathrani, na suryo, na chandrama.     Once (During Pralaya), there existed only Sriman Narayana.  Neither Brahma nor Shiva existed.  There was no Stars or Moon……. Goes the verse. This clearly says that during MahaPralaya only Sriman Narayana Exists. So if its true that Shiva killed Yama and become supreme, Sriman Narayana destroys the whole universe including Shiva and Brahma which clearly implicates that HE is THE SUPREME LORD.   Swami further explained the reason for Markandeya’s Chiranjeevi  status:

The Pramana goes by these verse:   Aaradhyo Bagavan Vishnu Ekaeva Mayachyutha Kesavaa dharyathe jagath sthavara jangamam Mukthi bukthi pradhadheva svathaeva purushothama..   Vishnu is the only diety, worshiped by me. All the sentient and Non-sentient beings in this world are sustained by Kesava.  Purushothama is the only Diety who grants us all the wishes on this world and grants us the Eternal World Srivaikuntam. It is also stated that, Shiva brought Markandeya to Hrishikesa who fulfils all the desire Of HIS devotees, and made markandeya to prostrate before Lord Vishnu and obtained Chiranjeevi Status and Vishnu Bhakthi.   Thus Swami refuted Shiva Parathva and Reinstated Vishnu Parathva in the Chola Kin’s Court.  KURESA VIJAYAM 10 - “Shiva Destroying Dhaksha Prajapathi’s Yagna” The King of Kooram, Swami Koorathazwan was debating with the Saiva’s in Chola King’s court. During that period, Saiva’s spat : Dhaksha performed a yaga with out inviting our God Shiva. He also disregarded Shiva by not giving the Havis from the Yaga. Our deity Isa got furious about that incident. In order to destroy all the deities present in that yagna including (Vishnu, Brahma etc..), he created Veerabadra from his third eye and destroyed the yaga. Hence our Shiva is the supreme deity.   Swami Koorathazwan’s retort :   “Hey Pandits!! The statement you proclaimed is against the verses of Vedhas & Vaidheeka Sastras.  It is clearly stated in the Pramana that Neither Lord Vishnu nor Brahma attended the above said Yaga done by Dhaksha. This being the truth, it is iniquitous to say that they are defeated.

KURESA VIJAYAM 7 - “MANMATHA DHAHANA” Swami Koorathaazwan who shinned as the Tridhanda and Pavithra of Swami Ramanuja, discarded the statement on Shiva Parathava put forth by the Saiva Pandits in Kirumikanta Chola’s Court . By making various quotes from Pramanas such as Vedas, Ithihasas and Sativika Puranas he established clearly that Sriman Narayana is the one and only ParaBrahmam. The anthology of these series of arguments is compiled as “Kuresa Vijayam”. Next we discuss on the argument put forth by the Saivas “Manmatha Dhahana” Event.   Saiva’s Claim: Once Shiva got a tiff with Dhaksha and was furiously anger with him. Later, the anger of Shiva subsided, it was replaced by inconsolable sorrow. He withdrew himself from the world and spent all his days in meditation in a desolate forest, close to a cremation ground.  Indra and the Devas went to Brahma and said, "Sir, Our foes, the Asuras have once again become powerful. It has been foretold that only the son of Shiva can lead us to victory over them this time.  Brahma said, "We must arrange for Uma to wait on Shiva. Once she is in the presence of Rudra, Kama can do the rest."  The plan was put into action. Uma (also called Parvati), was informed by the Gods that she was to look after Shiva's needs while he performed his penance. Days passed, Parvati performed her duties diligently. However, Shiva did not even open his eyes.  Meanwhile, Indra was growing impatient. He sent for Kama, the God of love and said, "O Kama, only you can save the Devas. For our welfare, it is required that Shiva marry Parvati. She is at present waiting on Shiva, but the Lord has not even noticed her presence. Go immediately and make him fall in love with her."  Manmadha, called forth his attendants, including Vasant (spring), and the Apsaras. This seductive army then marched to the place where Shiva was performing his penance.  With the arrival of Vasant, the desolate forest was transformed into a beautiful garden, with flowers in full bloom. The songs of the birds filled the air, and a
atmosphere was redolent with a divine fragrance. Parvati looked at this miracle in awe. Shiva however, continued his meditation without being perturbed.  Kama judged that it was time. He strung his bow made of sugarcane and affixed a flower tipped arrow to it. Impelled by his incantations, the arrow flew from the bow and struck Shiva squarely on his chest.  The Lord felt the arrow, and simultaneously felt desire rise deep inside him. However, in a moment, he had regained control over his mind, and the desire was supplanted by anger. Omniscient, he immediately knew that this was the work of Kama. He opened his third eye (situated in the middle of his forehead), and glanced at the god of Love. Kama was instantly reduced to ashes.  The Saivas claimed that, As Shiva burnt Manmadha who is the son of Lord Vishnu, Shiva is the Supreme Lord. Swami Koorathaazwan refuted by saying: 1)     It is true that Shiva burnt Kama. At the same time Shiva’s desire for parvathi has raised due to the Kama’s Bhana. This shows that he is equally dominant. 2)    Once Rishi Kapila, with his unparalleled Supernatural powers of his Tapas, burnt the 60,000 sons of Sakara Maharaja. Can we claim that Kapila is 60,000 times Superior than any one? 3)    Once there ruled a King called Ikshvagu in Ayodhya (He was preceding king in the same vamsa of SriRama). He made a Tapas towards Brahma. Not withstanding this, Indra and other devas sent Manmadha to destroy the Tapas. Manmadha sent his Kama Bhana (5 Arrows). Ikshvagu Raja was not perturbed by Manmadha’s arrows instead he humiliated Manmadha and sent him off. Can we state that Ikshvagu is the supreme lord due to this act?? Exclaimed swami. Thus Swami Koorathazwav thrust aside one another argument from the Saiva Pandits.  KURESA VIJAYAM 4 - “SHIVA DRANK POISON FROM AMRUTHAMATHAMâ€

THE ANTHERYAMI[RECIDING INSIDE}OF DEVAS AND ASURAS, STIRRED THE OCEAN OF MILK AND GOT THE AMRUTHAM.   AT THAT TIME VENOMOUS POISON CAME OUT PRIOR TO AMRUTHA.MAHAVISHNU ASKED SIVA TO SWALLOW THE POISON. HAVING SEEN SHIVA’S RELUCTANCE, SRIMAN NARAYANA QUICKLY CONSUMED A PART OF THE POISON AND THE LEFTOUT POISON WAS SWALLOWED BY SHIVA CHANTING NARAYANA’S NAMA THRAYA MANTHRA (ACHUTHAYA NAMA:, ANANTHAYA NAMA:,GOVINTHAYA NAMA)  AT THAT TIME PARVATHI HELD SHIVA’S NECK TO PREVENT THE POISON GOING IN TO HIS STOMACH. THE POISON RETAINED AT HIS NECK.    THIS WAS STATED IN RIG VEDA EIGHTH ASHTAKA, SEVENTH ADYAYA TWENTIFORTH VARGA. THE SAME WAS MENTIONED IN THACCHAKATHA SAMHITHA AND GARUDA PURANA, REPLIED AZHWAN.         PRAHLATHA CHARITRAM:-   PRAHLATHA WAS CHANTING HARI NAMAS ALWAYS WHICH WAS NOT LIKED BY HIS FATHER HIRANYAKASIBU.THE KING USED TO PUNISH HIM WHICH PRAHLATHA DID NOT MIND.ON ONE SUCH OCCASSION,HIRANYAKASIBU ORDERED HIS SERVANT TO GIVE PRAHLADHA VENOMOUS SERPENT’S POISON. PRAHLADHA SWALLOWED THE SAME CHANTING ASHTAKSHARA MANTHRA.WITH THE GRACE OF SRIMAN NARAYANA THE POISON BECAME AMRUTHA FOR PRAHLATHA. SHALL WE SAY THAT PRAHLATHA AS SUPREME GOD BECAUSE HE DRANK POISON?? ASKED AZHWAN.         SARPASAYANAM (SNAKE BED):
AATHISESHA IS THE BED AND SEAT FOR SRIMAN NARAYANA.FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNDER THE CARE OF NARAYANA EVEN POISON WILL BECOME AMRUTHAM.THIS IS STATED IN PURANA RATNA SRI VISHNUPURANA. VEDAS SAY NARAYANA IS THE BRAHMAM.   Â€ŒSTANYAM TAD VISHA SAMMISRAM RASYAMASIT JAGAD-GURO:€ - HARIVAMSAM  VISHNU PARVAM 6.39   LORD KRISHNA IN HIS CHILDHOOD HAD TAKEN THE POISONOUS MILK FROM DEMON PUTHANA. THIS IS REFERRED IN SRIMAD BHAGAVATHA PURANA AND PADMA PURANA.   HENCE CALLING SIVA AS SUPREME GOD BY YOU POETS, IS FALSE AND AGAINST THE QUOTES OF VEDAS REPLIED AZHWAN.   KURESA VIJAYAM 11 - “Arjuna Getting PASUPATHA ASTHRA from Shivaâ€ Upon hearing the verdict of Swami Koorathazwan from various Pramanas on Vishnu Parathva, The saivas put forth yet again one more argument on the episode of “Arjuna getting the Pasupatha Asthra from Lord Shivaâ€, even though he has Lord Krishna beside him.  It is stated in the Yudha Parva of Mahabaratha that Arjuna followed the advice of Sri Krishna to do penance to Lord Shiva to obtain Pasupatha Asthra and went to kailasa to get the same. Hence Shiva is the Superior Lord, claimed the Saivas.

Banasura is also a siva baktha. SIVA WAS OVERWHELMED BY HIS BAKTHI AND STOOD AS A guard IN FRONT OF BANASURA’S PALACE. HEARING THE NEWS OF HOUSE ARREST OF HIS GRANDSON, LORD KRISHNA WENT TO FIGHT WITH BANASURA. LORD SIVA ALONG WITH KARTHIKEYA, GANESHA, MODI AND AGNIDEVA STOOD IN FRONT OF LORD KRISHNA TO FIGHT WITH HIM. THEY ALL CANNOT FACE THE SEVERITY OF LORD’S CHAKRA AND RAN AWAY.)  IF IT IS TRUE THAT SIVA HAS GIVEN THE CHAKRA TO THIRUMAL, WHY SHOULD HE RUN AWAY FROM THE CHAKRA WITH HIS FAMILY?? SWAMI TOLD THAT PLEASE GET CLARIFIED AFTER READING THIS STORY FROM SAGE SUKA’S BHAGAVATHA PURANA.  FINALLY SWAMI CONCLUDED SAYING SO,  FOLLOWING LORD NARAYANA’S ORDER, SIVA CREATED THE MOHANA SASTRA TO KILL THE DEMONS. THERE ARE SOME STORIES MENTIONED IN THAT SASTRA SUCH AS ONE MENTIONED ABOVE (THAT SIVA GAVE CHAKRA TO VISHNU). THESE STORIES WILL BE RECOGNISED ONLY BY PEOPLE WITH ThAMO GUNA, DEMONS AND RAKSHASAS.  THE SATVIC PEOPLE, WHO HAVE MASTERED THE VEDA AND OTHER PRAMANA, WILL NOT RECOGNISE THESE STORIES. HAVING KNOWN THIS, SIVA HAS PRAYED TO LORD SAYING THAT “BY CREATING THESE SASTRAS WHICH ARE NOT AUTHENTIC, AM DOING A GREAT APACHARA. SO PLEASE SAVE ME FROM THATâ€. THE LORD WHO IS ALL MERCIFUL, PREACHED “THARAKA BRAHMA MANTHRAâ€ TO SIVA. HE ALSO UTTERED THAT OF ALL MY BAKTHA, YOU ARE THE PRIME. SO DON’T GET DEJECTED.  SO PLEASE BE AWARE THAT VISHNU IS ALL POWERFUL AND HE CREATES THESE TYPES OF MAYA, WHICH COULD CAUSE AGNYANA (ignorance) EVEN TO DEVATHAS SUCH AS BRAHMA, SIVA AND INDHRA.  SWAMI CONCLUDED SAYING THAT, IT IS EVIDENT THAT THE STORY SAYING “SIVA GAVE CHAKRA TO VISHNUâ€ IS AN ILLUSION CAUSED BY MOHANA SASTRA AND NOT A TRUE STORY.   KURESA VIJAYAM 5 - “YAMA SAMHARAâ€ Koorathaazwan, (who is deeply devoted to Sri Ramanuja, who always prostrate to Swami Nammazwar who is considered as the Paduka of Sriman Narayan) is debating with the Saiva Pandits in Chola King’s Court. On this series of debate, next we shall discuss about yet another proclamation by Saiva on the Topic “Yama Samharaâ€. The noose landed around the Shivalingam, and out of it, Shiva emerged in all his fury, and kicked Yama and killed.

HIM ON FIRE, BUT THE FIRE WITHOUT HURTING HIM GAVE A COOL FEELING OF SANDAL.  HIRANYA THEN GAVE POISON TO PRAHLADHA AND THE POISON BECAME A NECTOR (AMRUTHA) FOR PRAHLADHA. ALL THESE DEEDS WERE DUE TO LORD VISHNU’S KRUPA.   HIRANYAKASIPU WAS BAFFELED AND ASKED PRAHLADHA ABOUT THE MAGICIAN WHO IS HELPING HIM EVERYTIME. PRAHLADHA EXPLAINED TO HIS FATHER  “THE ONE WHO IS RESIDING IN ALL ENTITY AND WHO SUSTAINS EVERYONE IS MY LORD AND HE IS SRIMAN NARAYANAâ€.   HIRANYA THEN POINTED OVER THE PILLAR NEAR BY AND ENQUIRED IF NARAYANAN IS INSIDE THIS PILAR. PRAHLADHA SPONTANEOUSLY REPLIED THAT VISHNU IS EVERYWHERE INCLUDING THIS PILLAR. IMMEDIATELY HIRANYAKASIPU HIT THE PILLAR FURIOUSLY WITH HIS MACE.   LORD VISHNU TOOK THE FORM OF NRUSIMHA (MAN & LION),  WEARING BRAHMA’S SKIN AND HIS DRESS,  TWELVE SUNS[DWATHASA ATHITHYAS] AS GARLAND,  EIGHT DIRECTIONS (ASHTADHIKBALAS) AS WAIST ROPE, AND  SIVA’S HEAD AS ANKLET. WITH HORRIFING LOOK, HE CAME OUT FROM THE PILLAR, FRIGHTENING EVERY ONE AROUND THE WORLD.   HE TORE THE BLACKISH CHEST OF HIRANYAKASIPU WITH HIS FINGER NAILS. LORD VISHNU WAS VERY ANGRY WITH HIRANYAKASIPU, BECAUSE HE COULD NOT BEAR THE INJUSTICE DONE TO HIS BHAKTHA (PRAHLADHA).   DEVAS WHO WERE PRESENT AT THAT JUNCTURE, DISCUSSED AMONG THEMSELVES
ON HOW TO COOL THE ANGER OF VISHNU. THEY WENT TO KAILASA AND SOUGHT THE HELP OF THREENETHRADHARI SHIVA.THE POOR SHIVA, NOT REALISING THAT LORD NRUSIMHA AS PARABRAHMAM,TOOK THE FORM OF SARABHA AND FOUGHT WITH NRUSIMHA.  NRUSIMHA, WHO TORE THE CHEST OF HIRANYAKASIPU, FOUGHT WITH SARABHA, NULLIFIED HIS POWER AND ASHAMED SARABHA.    DEVAS THEN WENT TO BRAHMA AND SOUGHT HIS HELP. BRAHMA IN TURN, TOGETHER WITH DEVAS OFFERED HIS PRAYERS TO MAHALAKSHMI, WHO APPEARED IMMEDIATELY TO SHOWER HER MERCY TO ALL. LATER, BY ADVISING PRAHLADHA TO PRAY TO LORD NRUSIMHA, SHE CALMED HIS ANGER. THE DEVAS TOO PRAISED LORD VISHNU CHANTING HIS HARI NAMA AND EXCLAIMED VISHNU ALONE IS PARABRAHMAM.   AT THAT JUNCTURE, PARVATHY CAME TO LORD VISHNU AND OFFERED PRAYER TO HIM TO GET BACK HER HUSBAND. LOED VISHNU, OBLIGED TO PARVATHY’S REQUEST AND GOT SANKARA BACK.   THIS IS STATED IN THAITHREEYA UPANISHATH-THRUTHEEYA PRASHNA,  PADMA PURANA, GARUDA PURANA, UPANARASIMHA, UNCOMPARABLE VAMANA PURANA, AGNI PURANA. HENCE THIS SHOULD BE VIEWED UNBIASELY.   THIS IS STATED IN VEDAS & SEVEN PURANAS WHICH CLEARLY EXPLAINS THAT THE NITHYANANDHA ROOPA LORD VISHNU, ALONE IS BRAHMAM AND NOT THE BLACK NECKED SHIVA. SWAMI KOORATHAZHWAN QUOTED ALL THE ABOVE PRAMANA AND DISCORDED THE CLAIM MADE BY SAIVA PANDITS.
